Meet the Founder

Hello community! I'm Diego Calderón Quevedo! I founded Tropicana Bowls two years ago through a memory that crossed my mind at a time when I had made big changes in my life. I remembered the childhood I lived with my older brother Hugo Calderon, we always recovered energy after surfing with the famous "cremoladas" that the local people from Mancora beach (Piura-Peru) sold, these were fresh fruit smoothies with a delicious and tropical flavor. Added to this memory, I have always taken care of my health by following a balanced diet, workingout and practicing sports.

I asked myself, what if I create a 100% natural product that taste fresh and doesn't affect people's health at all? On the contrary, it would be benefitial for their health and also create on them a lifestyle.

Without wasting another second, I told my parents and my brother my idea they supported me and I decided to get to work right away. In this way smoothies and bowls were born with a specific detail, besides from being made with organic fruit, some names that these products would carry would be Peruvian beaches in honor of the famous "cremoladas" I found in my childhood.

I started offering delivery, and after a lot of work, persistence, motivation and above all passion, I was able to build my first food truck, I'm so excited to start this new adventure, I'm so ready to deliver fresh smoothies and acai bowls, but above of all, transmit a healthy lifestyle through them!
